I finally got the second ear piercing I’ve been thinking about. After these guys heal a bit, I plan on finally getting third one on both. So I’ve been looking at more earrings.

A very simple outfit will look so well put together with the perfect statement necklace. Choose one that fits your personality, I usually go bold and bright!
I finally made a new jewelry holder and purged a whole bunch of earrings, necklaces, etc. that I don’t need or haven’t worn in years. Trying to clean my closet from things that should be in there other than clothes and shoes.

Currently searching eBay and Etsy for really bright earrings. For some strange and impossible need, I’m craving bright, fun earrings to wear.
Saw this crazy tip nail ring this morning among my FB feeds. Looks super cool, especially on your hand…
If there is only one thing I want for Christmas this year, it’s necklaces! And the fun ones, not those super expensive single diamond/jeweled ones that my Dad buys my mother every year. I really don’t understand the appeal of those kinds. Give me something with a little bit more personality to it!
So like I thought I would, I ended up getting another dress to wear for the wedding. However, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be. When I finally arrived at the Alderwood Mall, I decided to to first hit up Forever 21. Cheap dress??? Since they moved to a larger space, they have more clothes & two floors to maneuver through. I nearly spent an hour wandering, waiting in dressing room line and trying things on.
Alas, I didn’t like any of the dress there for the wedding. I really was looking for something more flowly and light than the ones I was liking. But by the time I made my purchase of a new sweater and some jewelry, it was almost 3 pm and I needed to check in my hotel. With less than 2 hours left til the wedding, I had to make a quick decision.
So I returned to the mall. This was my last ditch effort at JCPenny and if I didn’t find anything I like, the long maxi black dress I brought with me will have to do. Thank goodness they had this dress! I was super excited that it not only looked goo, but make me feel great!
So the plan for the next wedding I get invited to, figure out what I’m wearing a week ahead instead of the night before. Learned my lesson. Two: need to buy a larger weekend bag to hold two shoes, not one…. don’t ask.
Summer weather is still lacking here in on the island and the Pacific Northwest. But it doesn’t mean that summer is coming. Finger-crossed for sunny skies this weekend, I’ve got a bachlorette party happening down in Seattle!
For me, summer means trading my gloves for rings! Currently I’m on a gold-rush obsession!
The bigger, brighter, bolder the ring is, the better and the more I want them!!
I’ve been wearing my knuckle Owl ring that I got from my BFF for the last week or so! I get lots of comments one it when I’m watching the front counter!
As a military brat, I completely support our military even if I don’t believe in the war. I always try to donate what I can to help our military personnel and their families. Here’s a great way to support our men and women who selflessly risked their lives for their country. Jewelry made of demilitarized bullet casings by Bullet2Bandages. They are a cause campaign that raises money for nonprofit organizations thorugh the sales of hand-made jewelry with proceeds benefiting wounded soldier and their families.
They also carry necklaces, hats, shirts and special items like a 50 Caliber Bottle Bottle Opener. You know you want one!
