So the wedding is in less than two weeks. 11 days to be exact, and my sister is currently calm. For now. Let’s see what happens when I pick her up at the train station Saturday. So while she has a good idea for her hair and makeup (I’m going to try to go to her consultation on Wednesday, but I work, so…), I’ve been researching on my own.
Currently my hair is a very dark auburn color since I’ve been spending a lot of time outside in the wonderful. So I decided that it might be a good time to color my hair. I haven’t really colored my hair since college, and even then, I went with a bright red since I didn’t have a job public job. I was an assistant in one of my university libraries.
It’s been a while since I ordered anything from Sephora. Almost three months, but I had all the necessary beauty items I needed, until now! Which was great timing since it was also around my birthday when I ordered. Yay, birthday gift-y!
I finally did my nails this week, after two times. Seriously, three times to make it look good. On Sunday, I painted my nail and unfortunate smudge it while I slept. Apparently I didn’t let it dry along enough. Sigh.
So birthday weekend was good. Nothing too exciting since my parents really never want to do anything grand for our birthdays. Since I knew they weren’t going to make it special or at least something that I would enjoy, I planned out a great day of playing with the mutt, having Asian buffet with friends and then a hike up near the fort!
I started flat ironing my hair again. Since I’ve started taking Biotin and B12 vitamins to help with what I lack due to my diet, my hair has gotten stronger and longer!
I got my January Must Have last friday! Alas this is my last Must-Have for now. I’ve decided to cancel for a while and save a bit of money in the next couple of months. It was a really hard decision to do, but I can always sign up again. I really love the stuff they send out!!
I travel a lot. I try to take trips to Hawaii every year to see my BFF (this year might be if-y). I drive down to Portland every couple of months to spend some time with my little sister. I try to head off to a city that I never been to before.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and have exciting plans for New Years! Me, it was a good one. Lil’ sister and finacée didn’t make it home so their presents will have to wait till they are able to make it to the island!
