I’m currently obsessed with PBS’s Brithis TV period drama, Downton Abbey.
It’s fanatisc! I found the show while searching Netflix for something to watch this weekend! It’s set in the early 1900′s just before WWI (or the Great War).
These ladies’ costumes as so fantastic! And makes me wish we could dress like that again.
I’m so smitten with the way Mary Crawley and her mother, Cora dresses. I would swoon over their dress closet, and quite possibly take off with a couple.
These Edwardian-style look falls somewhere in between corsets with bustles and flapper dresses. I completely in love with this look at the moment. So much, that I wouldn’t mind “dressing for dinner.” I’m thinking I’m going to need more closet space for such gowns.
